After this announcement by Jesus, what Christian in the world would deny the power that He has over His earth today. But how many Christians know just how thoroughly He has prepared the earth for His Gospel to be preached immediately before His return!
In the Spring and Fall of every year, everyone changes their clock when told that it's time to do so. Why? Because they already know about Daylight Savings Time... Overnight, when that day comes, everyone changes their clocks. In a similar way, other world religions will accept Jesus Christ when Christians begin to truly witness Jesus to them. Why? Because other world religions already know about Jesus! Overnight, when people of other religions see the true Jesus in the character of Christians, they will want to change and know Him too. Until Jesus returns, Christians are His voice on earth. When His sheep in other parts of the world hear His voice from us, they will follow Him too. When Christianity begins to truly witness His Love to the rest of the earth, people in religions around the world will accept Him as their King. "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd." (John 10:15-16 KJV) How do other religions already know about Him?
The number "3" is used throughout the Bible. Did you ever wonder why? Because Jesus sees the world not as we have divided it by national borders, but as He has guided it spiritually. He has influenced religions throughout the world to become familiar with salvation and to be prepared for His return. Jesus planted Spiritual seeds around the world. Listen to what He said about the Kingdom of Heaven: "And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened." (Luke 13:20-21 KJV)
People the world over are prepared to heed His call, but are the followers of Jesus Christ prepared to follow Jesus' true teachings? To witness Jesus, we must rid ourselves of all bigotry, envy, pride of position, and class distinctions we might harbor.
This is the way it has been planned from the beginning. We are the sinners, we must recognize our need for God and ask that sin be eliminated. Listen to His words: "For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord." (Matthew 23:39 KJV) We are now living in the last days, that time when the faults of mankind are plainly visible because of our failure to bring His Gospel to all of the people of the earth, and live His teachings. Humanity has run out of time. To feel secure from terrorism today, the only solution humanity has - without God - is further use of oppression and killing. People would like to ignore this situation because it is disturbing. But the longer we ignore it, the more suffering we cause on earth without changing this single fact: Humanity's rebellion against God, our attempt to show we can govern ourselves without Him, has failed. Christianity has been chosen because Christianity has been blessed above all. We are His Witnesses: "And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God." (Zechariah 13:9 KJV)
Jesus has prepared the entire world to receive the Gospel as He taught it, and the Gospel as He taught it is what Christians must now live and teach to the world He has prepared. Say it again and again: "Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord!"
